Dark Side refers to a type of speedrun, or occasionally a challenge run, that involves collecting 250 Power Moons and beating the boss rush in Dark Side as fast as possible. Timing for this speedrun begins when selecting the Start button on a new file and ends when collecting the Multi Moon after the RoboBrood fight in Dark Side. The fastest version for this speedrun is version 1.3.0, on a digitally downloaded copy of the game.
