'''Dark Side''' refers to a type of speedrun, or occasionally a challenge run, that involves collecting 250 [[Power Moon|Power Moons]] and beating the boss rush in [[Dark Side]] as fast as possible. Timing for this speedrun begins when selecting the Start button on a new file and ends when collecting the [[Multi Moon]] after the [[RoboBrood]] fight in Dark Side. The fastest version for this speedrun is [[version 1.3.0]], on a digitally downloaded copy of the game.
