Minimum Captures Any%

Any% Minimum Captures is a category on the Category Extensions boards for Super Mario Odyssey. The primary goal of Minimum Captures is to beat the game in as little captures as possible (hence the name).

Over time, the Low% community has lowered the amount of required captures to 10 using tricks such as the Infinite Nut Jump and Madame Broodal skip. As of now, the category has 4 sub-categories, each banning certain difficult tricks to bring the minimum captures up to 14, which is the most active sub-category for Minimum Captures in the speedrunning community.
