All Moons is a speedrun category that involves collecting all 880 Power Moons, as well as beating the harder Bowser fight in the Moon Kingdom as quickly as possible. Timing begins when selecting "Start" on a new file and ends when you shoot out of the electric wire in the harder escape sequence. All moons obtained must be "unique," meaning they must display the moon name when you obtain them and must appear on the moon list. As such, purchasing shop moons after the original moon has been purchased does not contribute towards the moon total. As of June 29th, 2021, TA timing may be used, meaning that a 15-minute break can be taken every 4 hours. [1] The use of amiibo, assist mode and balloon world are banned. The fastest version for this category is Version 1.3.0, on a digital copy of the game.
