Dino Skip

Dino Skip is a speedrun strategy used to skip the intended route to Madame Broode by abusing the T-Rex capture. Not to be confused with Madame Broode Skip, Dino Skip is used in nearly all speedrun categories of the game and is one of the biggest timesaves in Any%. In Dino Skip, the player captures the T-Rex and breaks the rocks covering the trampoline in front of the T-Rex platform. The player then bounces off that trampoline with the T-Rex and at the peak of the bounce, uncaptures the dinosaur and dives into the Madame Broode boss arena.

Reproduction Steps

To perform Dino Skip:

• Capture the T-Rex in Cascade Kingdom
• Walk directly forward until you fall off the platform
• Turn left and destroy the bricks you are facing
• Bounce off the trampoline whilst facing the boss platform
• Uncapture at peak height and dive onto the platform
