Snow Clip: Difference between revisions

This is the oldest known Snow Clip method and was actually the first roll cancel clip ever discovered, having been found accidentally by speedrunner Zinpars. This variant takes place in the hallway on the upper level of the town. With this location being so far from the loading zone to Snowline Circuit, reaching the loading zone requires an out-of-bounds traversal that includes landing on an out-of-bounds section of the stairs in the center of the town. Due to this additional obstacle, Upstairs Snow Clip is generally no longer used in speedruns since the advent of simpler Snow Clip methods.
