This glitch makes Mario's head disappear and his cap follow him to his feet. This has been found on version 1.3 of the game and is probably only able to be reproduced on that version.
Execution
In order for this trick to work you have to :
- Already have bought the 8-bit Mario Cap from the store
- Have both Mario's outfit and headwear set to randomize.
- You then have to buy any outfit and equip it as the shopkeeper asks you to equip it
- Go die a bunch of times until the randomizer equips the 8-bit Mario Cap
This glitch will stay active until you hit a loading zone. 8-bit pipe transition will keep the glitch active while having no effect while being in 8-bit mode.
