High-Rise Building is a sub-world in Metro Kingdom accessed using a Mini Rocket on a small island on the west side of the kingdom. This island is normally accessed using the pipe in the Crowded Room but can also be jumped to from various high points in the overworld. The High-Rise Building level consists of platforming around a tall building by swinging on horizontal poles.
Trivia
- Proven by Terido, it is possible to reach the top of the large building in the center of the level. This can be done by starting from the location where the secret moon is and performing a trickjump known by trickjumpers as "Metroid" way off to the left to reach the lower section of the roof,[1] generally utilizing an up-down vault and some homing triple throws.[2] From there, it is trivial to also jump up to the higher section.
- Reaching the top of the building can also be done using a vertical trickjump straight to the top only possible in two-player mode using the skew trickjump technique, proven by trickjumper MadeForMario using a tool-assisted demonstration.[3]
