Lake Outfit Clip is a roll cancel clip that allows the player to clip out of bounds in the Water Plaza in the Lake Kingdom to access the Lochlady Dress stand room without the swimmer outfit.[1] The clip is often used in longer categories such as All Moons, as well as Bingo and Luigi's Balloon World.
After performing the roll cancel clip, the player should do a small jump and then a cap bounce to get into the outfit room. Messing up the out of bounds movement such as by bonking on the outfit room wall can result in Mario falling to the floor below.
