An easy way to beat the Broodals has been found. The small spike-thing marked in the photo gives you a Life-Up Heart. This gives you 6 health instead of 3 (9 instead of 6 in Assist Mode). It can be used indefinitely after you beat a Broodal. I have not confirmed the fact and it is also very tedious to do.

Licensing

This is a screenshot of a copyrighted computer or video game, and the copyright for it is most likely held by the company that published the game.
