With this location being so far from the loading zone to Snowline Circuit, reaching the loading zone requires an out-of-bounds traversal that includes landing on an out-of-bounds section of the stairs in the center of the town. Due to this additional obstacle, Upstairs Snow Clip is generally no longer used in speedruns since the advent of simpler Snow Clip methods.
