'''Minimum Mario''' refers to a group of Low% categories in which the goal is to complete objectives such as beating the game while getting as many moons as possible while in a [[capture]]. In this category, a moon collected so that Mario is in a capture the frame before the internal moon count increments is referred to as a capture moon, and a moon collected so that Mario isn't in a capture before that frame is called a Mario moon.

== Categories ==
So far, Minimum Mario has two main categories, [[Minimum Mario Any%]], which involves completing the game while minimising Mario moons, and [[Minimum Mario Max Moons]], which involves getting as many capture moons as possible while minimising Mario moons.
